The car with perhaps the daftest name on Britain’s roads is getting a makeover and the new version is out from 1 June.
Kia’s Cee’d has been designed, engineered and built in Europe and has a choice of two petrol and two turbodiesel engines. It also comes in 6-speed transmissions across the range including Kia’s first ever Dual Clutch Transmission.
Kia grabbed a fair chunk of the new car market when the Cee’d was launched with an impressive seven year warranty and servicing plans.
Most marques have upped their aftermarket game (most notably Ford) to compete but this Kia still has a few tricks.
Kia has its fingers crossed that this will be another ‘game changer’ by offering a lot more car for the money. In recent years the firm’s competitors have launched budget price versions of popular models to compete.
The new Kia Cee’d is priced from £14,395 on the road.
