Attendees at the Goodwood Festival of Speed should take a closer look at Mazda’s concept for the MX-5.
The new Mazda MX-5 GT Concept
That’s because a good reaction from fans could lead to the high performance car eventually making it to the production lines.
The popular sports car will produce 205bhp from a 2litre Mazda engine and the road legal model will be on display throughout the festival and take part in the hill climb in the ‘First Glance’ category.
Designers have uprated the suspension to improve handling and it is adjustable for different track conditions.
The exhaust note has also been enhanced (if that was really necessary) with a sports exhaust system with a central tailpipe.
Should the Concept make it into production, customers will be able to buy it with road slicks and body-coloured roll hoops behind the seats.
