This is the stylish new Mercedes C Class Cabriolet which has driving pleasure and sporty characteristics at the centre of its revamp.
There is a digital cockpit and a sharper design for the Coupe and also the new Cabriolet.
For the UK, all models will have sports suspension and Mercedes has introduced new four-cylinder engines for their models.
The Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet engines
The Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet and Coupe engines help deliver a dynamic car that will return around 32 mpg with emissions of 212g/km. The engines are a 1.5 unit for the C 200 and 4Matic models, while the C 220 d gets a 2.0 litre unit and the AMG C43 4Matic has a 3.0 litre engine with six valves.
Mercedes says that its new four-cylinder 1.5 litre petrol engine will be coupled to a mild hybrid system featuring a 48 V on-board network to help electrify their line-up.
The electric motor, which is a 10 kW unit producing 14 HP, will assist the engine which produces 184 HP for excellent acceleration.
The handling of the car is impressive and there is a digital cockpit which utilises a touchscreen along with a media display of 10.25 inches. Drivers also get to enjoy a new multifunction steering wheel which features touch control buttons.

The carmaker says that the secret of the Mercedes C Class’s success is down partly to the model range which includes two sporty two-door versions plus the strong design features.
The revisions for the C-Class Cabriolet and Coupe include more driving pleasure with the enhanced engines and the stylish tweaks include a new tail and front end, new body colours and new light alloy wheels.
There’s also LED high-performance headlights fitted as standard and the opportunity for individualisation with lots of options, including ambient lighting for the cabin to provide a ‘lounge-like’ atmosphere. The lighting is available in 64 colours.

The new Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet and Coupe models have gone on sale with the first UK deliveries being made in July.
