Details of the Jaguar F-Type range for 2015 have been unveiled and include all-wheel drive and manual transmission versions for the first time.
In addition, Jaguar have also increased the range of models from six to 14.
The all-wheel drive version will see the F-Type perform incredibly well on all road services and in a variety of conditions.
Dynamic performance in the new Jaguar F-Type
The Jaguar F-Type R Coupe in AWD form is also dynamic and will rocket from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Its top speed of 186 mph has been limited.
To help the driver keep the vehicle under control, Jaguar has introduced ‘intelligent driveline dynamics’ which help the car achieve its best performance potential while in AWD traction but retaining its rear wheel drive characteristics.
The all-wheel drive version also has a unique bonnet design with distinctive new vents and a deeper ‘power bulge’.

Indeed, for a pure sports car driving experience, the new six speed manual transmission, which is an option on the supercharged V6 model, will be hard to beat.
To help driving enjoyment, there’s also electric power assisted steering for precision and improved feel, and braking has been improved by introducing torque vectoring which helps improve agility.
The firm is also replacing its V8 S Convertible model, which produced 495PS, with a new supercharged V8 in the F-Type R Convertible which is available in all wheel drive and rear wheel drive configurations. This engine will produce an impressive 550PS.
The Jaguar F-Type also features a new infotainment system which supports android and Apple smartphone connectivity, is intuitive to operate and enables the owner to have remote engine starts.

This ability will also see the climate control function bring the cabin up to a predetermined level before the owner event sits in the car.
Jaguar says that it’s all aluminium sports car will set new standards for driver involvement and dynamics in the sector and it’s hard not to see how this new 2015 version of the F-Type will be anything other than a success for the firm.
