What engine does a BMW X7 have?
The BMW X7 has a choice of either two six-cylinder diesel engines or a newly-developed six-cylinder petrol unit.
The petrol unit produces 340 hp with torque of 450 Nm and the entry-level BMW X7 xDrive30d has a diesel engine producing 265 hp and torque of 620 Nm. Its sprint time is seven seconds with fuel economy of around 45 mpg.
All of the engines are turbocharged and coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
