The engine choices for the impressive Hyundai i10 are either a 1.0 litre or a 1.2 litre petrol engine mated to either a four-speed automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual. The current model also had the option of an LPG 1.0 litre model to help reduce fuel consumption but this has been discontinued. Of the two engines, the 1.2 litre unit offers the best performance with an output of 87 PS, which will meet most needs, while the 1.0 litre unit will produce 67 PS, which is a sound level of performance around towns.

The Hyundai i10 builds on the success of the previous model while still delivering a dynamic and young design. The new model will also feature improved connected safety and car features that will help cement its popularity. Until then, drivers will still have the same well-priced small car that is packed with equipment that many of its rivals cannot match. It's also a spacious car with a smart interior. Depending on the chosen trim, the Premium SE, for example, comes with a class leading infotainment offering with a 7-inch touchscreen, smartphone connectivity and satnav. As should be expected, the Hyundai i10 is a great car to drive around town with agility and good levels of performance. It's also ideal for those small parking spaces and the standard equipment list brings peace of mind with electronic stability control and an anti-lock braking system among the standard features. The i10 also offers its satnav system with seven-years of subscription free access to real-time traffic services. Essentially, for the money, the Hyundai i10 is a cracking car that has lots of equipment and a rewarding driving experience and it feels at home in busy traffic.
