The Peugeot 308 is a compact family car produced by the French manufacturer Peugeot. The first generation of the 308 was introduced in 2007 and replaced Peugeot 307.
The first and second-generation Peugeot 308 was initially available in several body styles, including a five-door hatchback, a station wagon, and a convertible. Known for its stylish design, good fuel economy, and agile handling, the 308 has received positive reviews from automotive journalists and has won several awards, including the European Car of the Year award in 2014.
The latest generation of the Peugeot 308 still features a range of engines, including petrol, diesel, and hybrid options, but the car is predominantly a stylish 5dr hatchback; however, it is also available as a station wagon, shortened to 308 SW with a full EV launch in 2023.
Dependent on the SW trim you choose, the hands-free tailgate allows you to open and close the motorised boot lid with a simple movement. The flat magnetic function allows the rear bench seats to be lowered via a mechanism in the boot to create a flat floor; again, depending on the versions, the boot volume can reach a whopping 1,634 litres.
The Hatchback and Station Wagon variants have advanced safety features, such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic emergency braking.
