Underneath the bonnet of the Cupra Formentor is a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 306bhp. The power sees this stylish SUV sprint from 0 to 62 mph in less than five seconds.
There's also a Formentor plug-in hybrid model with a 1.4-litre petrol engine, and an all-electric model is planned.
Economy

Technology
A 12-inch touchscreen dominates the dashboard to help give a minimalist look. There are not many buttons to speak of with the touchscreen being intuitive and meeting most needs. The Formentor car lease also has a digital cockpit, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate and parking assistance with a reversing camera proving useful.
There are several driving modes to choose from with the Cupra mode delivering great fun: the response is sharper, the steering becomes sportier and the engine noise is also tweaked.
Safety
While the safety is still to be tested by Euro NCAP, the SUV uses a lot of parts from the VW group and is likely to be awarded the full five stars. Safety features include pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking.
Interior
As is the Cupra style, there is a lot of copper detailing around the dashboard and steering wheel, and for the leather upholstery. The boot is a practical 420 litres, and there's plenty of space in the rear seats for tall passengers.
It's also a practical family choice; the interior has been well-designed with good use of premium materials but there are some hard-wearing plastics for tough use.
Handling
Behind the wheel, the Cupra Formentor car lease is a fun to drive SUV. The all-wheel drive system delivers plenty of grip, while the suspension reduces body roll. Around town, the Formentor is a nimble car to drive and this is a smooth motorway cruiser.
