Engines and performance for the Koleos
The Renault Koleos comes with the choice of two diesel engines with the 2.0 litre unit producing 190hp and offering four-wheel drive as standard. The unit is a good performer for those who want to take the vehicle off-road where it will deliver a comfortable and safe performance. The Koleos also comes with a 1.7 litre diesel alternative producing 150hp. Both engines are mated to the firm's CVT - continuously variable transmission - for better performance. The engines return between 41mpg and 47 mpg.

Safety kit includes blind spot warning, autonomous emergency braking and traffic sign recognition as standard. The Koleos also has active emergency braking with pedestrian detection which is helpful when travelling around town. Essentially, there is a lot to like about the Renault Koleos which is a large and comfortable SUV that is easy to drive and has decent off-roading capabilities too; is also a well-equipped and very safe car and is an impressive family offering.
